The Interfaith Nutrition Network (“The INN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) places a high priority on protecting your privacy.  This privacy policy was created in order to explain what information we gather from you when you interact with us through this web site and through other means offline, how we use this information, and what we do to protect your information.  This privacy policy applies to information collected by us through our website and by any other offline means.

Our commitment to Donors

Except as provided in this privacy policy, we do not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or any personal information with any other entity.  We do not send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.  Donors may opt out of any mailings sent by us.

What information we collect

We may collect information from you when you register, make a donation, respond to our communications, or otherwise interact with the site.

  • When donating or registering, we may ask you for your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other information. You may, however, visit the site without providing such information.
  • We use IP addresses and session identifiers to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track user activities, to infer user interests, and to otherwise induce, deduce, and gather information about individual users and market segments.
  • Like many websites, we use “cookies” to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our Site. Cookies are small files that are placed on your computer and are read when you come back to the website. We may use both session cookies (that expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (that stay on your computer until you delete them) to enhance your experience using The INN’s website and to let us know which parts of our website are most popular.  You can reject cookies or cancel them by instructing your web browser accordingly.

You can correct or update your personally identifiable information by re-registering, updating your profile, or by contacting us by electronic-mail info@the-inn.org or by telephone (516) 486-8506.
