We are INN Need of CTC Volunteers! - 02/16/2024

The Center for Transformative Change, (CTC) is The INN’s free resource center to assist guests to improve their life circumstances and become self-sufficient. We are currently seeking weekly volunteers at CTC to help with a variety of responsibilities. In addition to being in direct interaction with the guests, volunteers at CTC may be asked to help with administrative duties, such as answering phones, making appointments, or fulfilling requests for emergency food, diapers, and toiletries with help from staff and volunteers in our soup kitchen and warehouse.

Volunteers are expected to handle sensitive and complicated matters that guests may be experiencing. They may also be asked to handle personal or private or legal information to properly serve the guests’ needs. Because of the nature of the position, all CTC volunteers must be 18 or over, and are required to be screened thoroughly and undergo a background check. All volunteers must remember to uphold the philosophy of The INN, which is to show Dignity, Respect and Love to all the guests we serve.

CTC shifts are Monday through Friday between 8:30-1:00pm or 12:00pm-4:00pm. Whenever possible, we are asking that volunteers commit to a shift at least one day a week. Spanish-speaking volunteers are encouraged to apply.
