Cheers to a Successful Wine Tasting Event! - 02/08/2024

The INN’s very first in person wine tasting fundraiser was held on Thursday, February 8th at the lovely Opus Mediterranean Steakhouse, in Jericho, NY. 40 INN supporters attended the event, which featured five food stations with five accompanying wines.

Stephen Scarnato, vineyard expert and founder of New Roots Wine in the North Fork, was on hand to answer questions about his signature blend that was featured as one of the wines of the evening. The musical entertainment for the evening was “The INNspirations,” a house band led by longtime friend of The INN Rich “Buzz” Bergen on the saxophone, his wife Debbie on vocals, and Gary Fevola on the keyboard. The music provided a relaxed, cocktail party atmosphere as guests tasted wine and food and networked to find out how to continue to support The INN’s mission. We would like to thank everyone who attended the event, our musicians who generously donated their talents for the evening, and our event Chairpersons Lisa DeVito and Joellen McKenna. We look forward to making the wine tasting an annual event!
