Our Mission

The INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network) addresses the issues of hunger and homelessness on Long Island by providing food, shelter, long-term housing, and supportive services in a dignified and respectful manner for those who seek our help. We are a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization with a dedicated staff, a broad base of community support and a commitment to educate the public about these issues.

Today is a National #DayofService in honor of Dr. King. Although The INN's main office and #MaryBrennanINN soup kitchen are closed in observance of the holiday, many of you are supporting The INN in your own locations! Thank you to The Community Synagogue (Port Washington, NY) for making 200 bagged lunches for soup kitchen guests today and to the Bellmore-Merrick School Dist for taking groups from all six schools in the district to collect non-perishable foods from all different cultures and countries, and assembling food bags and recipe cards for guests.
