Youth and Family Involvement

Young people are an integral part of The INN’s mission to promote awareness and meet the needs of hungry and homeless Long Islanders. There are many ways students can make a difference in the lives of so many. See below for all Youth Opportunities at The INN.

Student Volunteers

We currently do not have any volunteer opportunities available for students under age 16. If you are 16 & up and would like to volunteer, please click on the button below to fill out a volunteer registration form, and an INN representative will get back to you to schedule your day(s).

For students under 16, please consider joining the Youth Advisory Board, or working on a project on your own or with a group. Suggestions can be found below in our Youth INNvolvement brochure.

The INN’s Youth Advisory Board is made up of High School and middle school student volunteer representatives (grades 6-12) from various schools.

Our goal is to help find ways to educate and engage youth about hunger and homelessness on Long Island, while offering hands on volunteer opportunities to help make a difference.

For more information about the Youth Advisory Board click here. For questions, please contact Dana Lopez at (516) 486-8506 ext. 138 or dlopez@the-inn.org.
