THANK YOU! – Our Cold Weather Shelter Fund Raised Over $56k! - 01/11/2018

Mere words alone cannot express how humbled we are by your combined commitment and generous acts of kindness.

 

When we are able to touch another life with deep awareness, we become something greater and far-reaching in purpose and meaning. Each of you have achieved that in ways beyond our expectations.

 

When we asked you to assist us with an emergency shelter fund, to offer guests a safe and warm place to escape the sudden and harsh winter temperatures, you did so without hesitation. You have not just helped people with shelter from these terrible cold conditions, fed them, helped keep them warm, but I have no doubt you have been responsible for saving lives.

 

By mid-morning on January 1st 2018, this appeal had raised $56,246.17. What a glorious beginning to the New Year. THANK YOU!

 

The INN has a commitment to every guest, to offer dignity, respect and love in whatever way a guest’s need requires.

 

In our day-to-day engagements with those in need, budgetary allocations are set to fulfill our core mission. But life is full of unexpected emergencies, and sometimes we have to go above and beyond and we then turn to you to help us accommodate the urgency of homeless guests’ circumstances.

 

Please know that the funds raised for this emergency shelter appeal will be applied wisely and insure our ability to provide emergency shelter for anyone in need.

 

Each of you are cherished gifts to each person in need, and on their behalf, I cannot say thank you enough.
