107 Mile Bike Ride to Support The INN - 06/20/2017

Richard Noll was inspired after visiting the Mary Brennan INN soup kitchen with his son. He started by coordinating a coat drive with his son’s ice hockey team, and began to sponsor meals at the Mary Brennan Soup kitchen with his staff at Noll Law Firm, but decided to take it a step further.

On June 17th, after a suggestion from his wife, Richard rode his bike 107 miles from Brooklyn Heights to Greenport Harbor, LI in support of hungry and homeless Long Islanders. He asked for support from his friends, family and through his firm. Between social media outreach, personal checks and a Go Fund Me account set up by his son, Richard raised over $7,300 in donations. 100% of his funds raised will go to support The INN’s programs. “I was very impressed by the fact that The INN is not just a giveaway, but it’s an education to help people become self-sufficient,” Richard said. We are equally as impressed with Richard’s efforts. “We love to see amazing people do wonderful things in the name of helping others,” said Cynthia Sucich, Director of Corporate & Community Relations. For those who are not sure how they can help, Richard sets an example of following your heart, even if it’s on a bike.”
