If you or someone you know is pleasant, well organized, caring and confident in handing phone calls and greeting guests, and might be available for as little as a half day or one day per week, please have them contact the HR department for an interview.

Receptionist for Mary Brennan INN Soup Kitchen – Hempstead
The Mary Brennan INN soup kitchen, is seeking volunteer receptionists to meet and greet soup kitchen volunteers and donors; monitor incoming phone calls and accept and record donations. The ideal volunteer must be a people person, team player, friendly, professional, able to communicate well, multi-task, be organized and be flexible in assisting wherever they are needed.
We are looking for several receptionists to fill the following days and hours below:
- Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Mondays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Fridays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Receptionist for Center for Transformative Change – Hempstead
The Center for Transformative Change (CTC) serves as a consultative referral center for guests of the Mary Brennan INN Soup Kitchen and the Shelters. The center is seeking several Receptionists to meet, greet and check-in guests who are requesting services; monitor incoming phone calls and file away guest folders. The ideal volunteer must be a people person, team player, friendly, professional, able to communicate well, multi-task, be organized and be flexible in assisting wherever they are needed.
