Youth INNvolvement
***Please be aware that because of covid-19 restrictions and changes in The INN’s operations, children under 16 years old are currently not permitted to volunteer in our facilities. Check below for other options for students to Get INNvolved, earn community service hours and make a difference in the lives of INN guests.***
Young people are an integral part of The INN’s mission to promote awareness and meet the needs of hungry and homeless Long Islanders. There are many ways students can make a difference in the lives of so many.
Youth Advisory Board (Click to Visit Page)
The INN’s Youth Advisory Board is made up of High School student volunteer representatives (grades 9-12) from various schools.
Our goal is to help find ways to educate and engage youth about hunger and homelessness on Long Island, while offering hands on volunteer opportunities to help make a difference.

To Volunteer
At this time and until further notice, children under age 16 are not permitted to volunteer in our facilities. We are in the process of changing this policy back as we revert to pre-covid programs in the soup kitchen.
