We Still Need Your Help After the Season of Giving Ends - 01/16/2018

The Holidays have Passed, but We are Still Here

Happy New Year! Every holiday season, we are in awe of the level of INNvolvement that comes in the form of aid to the guests at The INN. Even though the season of giving has passed, you may have seen a very compelling commercial on television, produced by State Farm and their “Neighborhood of Good” campaign. It encourages people to take action and give back to their communities, as the need is still here. The message is a simple, but very true sentiment, “During the holidays, the best gift you can give is your time. But when the season of giving ends, the need still remains.” We couldn’t agree more.

The INN’s mission of serving hungry and homeless Long Islanders takes a 365 day commitment that goes beyond the November and December months. With a quick search on State Farm’s “Neighborhood of Good” page and selecting Hunger and Homelessness as the cause you care about in area code 11550, offers multiple ways for you to remain INNvolved. Here are a few ways right here:

CTC Volunteers – especially those with backgrounds in social work or Health & Human Services to assist at the Center for Transformative Change
